Gigtime is a time tracking and invoicing app built for freelancers. Track time with a simple entry grid, a real-time cross-device timer, or both, then turn those hours into professional invoices. It runs on iOS, Android, Web, Windows, macOS, and Linux with real-time sync across all devices.
Gigtime lets you log hours in a grid after the fact, run a timer that syncs across devices, or combine both. Free invoicing is included on every plan, which most competitors charge extra for. Everything is designed around what a freelancer who bills their own clients needs, without the enterprise overhead of tools built for large organizations.
Yes. Gigtime was designed to fill the gap AND.CO left when it shut down. You get the same entry-based time tracking, client management, and invoicing, plus a cross-device timer, real-time sync, and native apps for every platform. You can also import your AND.CO data via CSV.
Yes. The web app is at app.gigtime.app, and native apps for Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android are available to download.
Gigtime is built and maintained by Websites Matter, LLC, a software company based in South Florida, USA. We're a small team, and we build tools for freelancers because we are freelancers.

You have two options: use the entry grid to log hours after the fact (good for end-of-day logging), or start the real-time timer that syncs across all your devices. You can also combine both, whichever fits your workflow.
Yes. Gigtime works on iOS, Android, Web, Windows, macOS, and Linux. Your time entries, clients, projects, and invoices sync in real time across all devices, so you can log hours on your phone and review them on your laptop.
It syncs instantly. Start a timer on your phone and you'll see it running on your laptop, tablet, or any other device where you're logged in. Stop it from anywhere.
Yes. Unlimited clients and projects on every plan, including free, each with custom colors, hourly rates, and detailed tracking. Pro adds reports, CSV/PDF export, white-label invoicing, and email from your own domain.
Yes, and it's included free on every plan. Turn your tracked hours into invoices and send them directly to clients. Pro adds white-label invoicing with your branding, sending from your own email domain, recurring invoices, and automatic overdue reminders.
Yes. Pro includes custom email domains. Verify your domain once (Settings → Invoice → Email Domain, then add a few DNS records) and invoice emails send from your address, like billing@yourstudio.com, instead of a Gigtime one. Clients see your name end to end.
Free accounts can send up to 25 invoice emails per rolling 7 days (5 per hour), which covers most freelancers' invoicing. Pro raises that to 1,000 a week (30 per hour). You'll get a heads-up in the app and by email as you approach your limit.
Pro users can export time entries to CSV for taxes, record-keeping, or importing into other tools. Reports can also be exported as PDF or CSV.
Free accounts created after October 9, 2026 can create 10 invoices per calendar month. Drafts you already started can always be edited and sent, and the count resets on the first of the month. Accounts created before that date have no limit. Pro and the 30-day trial are unlimited.
Yes. Give a project an hour bank under its settings. Pick "Hourly with a cap and banked overflow" to bill up to a monthly cap and carry the rest forward, "Prepaid hours" for a retainer whose unused hours roll over, or "Track only" to list hours on the invoice without charging for them. The invoice shows a small box with the opening balance, hours added, hours used, and the closing balance. Cap and retainer banks are part of Pro and of the 30-day trial; Track only is free.
Teams is in development: shared workspaces for small studios and agencies, where a few people track time against the same clients and projects and invoice from one place. There is no release date yet. If you run a small team, pick "Teams" in the contact form and tell us your team size, and we'll email you when it opens.

Yes. The free plan includes unlimited clients and projects, unlimited time entries, invoicing, the cross-device timer, and real-time sync. No time limits, no hidden fees.
$3.99/month or $39.99/year (save 16% with annual billing). Pro unlocks reports and CSV/PDF export, white-label invoicing, email from your own domain, recurring invoices, automatic overdue reminders, and an ad-free experience.
Every new account gets a 30-day Pro trial with full access to all features and no credit card required. After 30 days you can subscribe to Pro or continue on the free plan.
You keep using Gigtime. Your account switches to the free plan and all your data stays intact. You lose access to Pro features like reports, exports, and white-label invoicing until you upgrade again.
Yes. No contracts, no cancellation fees. Cancel your Pro subscription whenever you want and you'll keep access through the end of your billing period. After that, you're back on the free plan.
Technical & Security
Yes. Gigtime uses Supabase (built on PostgreSQL) with row-level security, meaning your data is isolated and only accessible to you. All connections are encrypted with TLS, and we support two-factor authentication (2FA) for additional account security.
Gigtime is designed as an online-first app. You need an internet connection to sync data across devices and access your account. We're exploring offline support for a future release.
Yes. Import CSV files from AND.CO, Toggl, Clockify, Harvest, or any generic CSV format, on every plan. The import wizard maps your columns and lets you review everything before importing.
iOS, Android, Web (any modern browser), Windows, macOS, and Linux. All platforms sync in real time, so you can switch devices mid-task.
Getting Started
Sign up free at app.gigtime.app or download the native app for your platform. Create your account, add a client and project, and start tracking time. The whole setup takes less than two minutes.
No. You can sign up and start your 30-day Pro trial without entering any payment information. When the trial ends, you'll continue on the free plan unless you choose to subscribe.
